Elf will fill you with Christmas cheer!
We are big fans of the movie Elf, so we thought we'd give the musical a shot. The musical was funny, adorable, and filled me with Christmas cheer. I loved it and would highly recommend it.
Keep in mind that they did make many changes to adapt the show from a movie to a musical. The general plot is the same, but the details are probably only 75 to 80% loyal to the movie. It didn't impact my enjoyment of the show at all, but my boyfriend was a little disappointed that so much was changed. It was still a wonderful show, so if you don't mind some alterations to make the show suit live theater, then you'll still love it.
